Some of our team members published the following article to present a systematic way for identifying and supporting students' strengths within future IDEA legislation. Many of these suggestions are practical suggestions for promoting talent development while still providing support for students' deficits.

In the presentation, we discussed the experiences of parents of gifted students on the spectrum. You can read more about that work here.

In the presentation, we discussed the possibility of using process-based interviews to develop a greater understanding of students' approaches to specific tasks. This assessment approach provides additional, nuanced data to support both strength and deficit identification. Read the explanation on how to do this here.
